BST International GmbH (hall 10, booth D57), leading manufacturer of quality assurance systems for the web processing industry, will be exhibiting at Drupa 2008 using a new, generous trade show concept.
On our 110 sqm. booth, we present, besides our well proven systems for web guiding and web inspection systems, the following new products:

• The new video web inspection system
  SUPER HANDYScan 4000
  The PC based system with a high-resolution digital camera offers a pin sharp image quality, various zoom lens options, a space-saving one monitor concept, multiple monitoring options including variable split screen functions and repeat views and extensive equipment.
  
  
• The new 100% real time print defect detection system SHARK 4000
  SHARK 4000 has been designed for the inspection of larger webs. It is equipped with a state of the art colour line camera and provides consistent illumination of the web by the use of high performance LED light emitters and especially shaped reflectors. The system offers detailed, clear and significant defect reports.



• The 100% real time print defect detection system SHARK 4000 LEX
  SHARK 4000 LEX is a focused development of the existing SHARK system which BST International successfully launched two years ago. SHARK 4000 LEX has been developed for 100% print defect detection on rewinders and narrow web presses. The system works on a Windows XPe software base and offers numerous new useful hard and software functions, e.g. new efficient cameras, the combination of 100% defect detection and video web inspection ("POWERLink") and integral inline PDF comparison.



• The new register control system AR 4000
  The AR 4000 system is the new development for the precise adjusting of the register on offset printing machines and stands out due to the compact design, an intuitive touch screen control and short set-up times. Using AR 4000, adjustment of colour and intermediate registers (front to reverse side registers) is as dependable as is the setting of additional printing units (e.g., flexo printing units) or tool stations.


• The new line and contrast sensor CLS Pro 600
  
  This innovative BST development offers unrivalled ease of control for print and web edges as well as printed lines. The system combines colour line camera, high resolution colour display and an intuitive operation. The removable keyboard allows for convenient operation even when the production environment requires installation of the camera head at a point which is hard to get to.



• The new motorized sensor positioning device FVG Pro
  With FVG Pro, BST International introduces a versatile system for a broad range of applications. FVG Pro not only ensures positioning but may also be used for oscillation and web width measurement. The device is optionally available with one drive and one sensor holder, one drive and two sensor holders or two drives and two sensor holders.



• On the occasion of Drupa, BST International will also exhibit the established products:
  PREMIUS digital 3Chip (high end video web inspection),
  ekr 500 (controller for web guiding applications) and
  CompactGuide (compact web guiding system).

• In order to keep up with BST Group's constant growth and to meet future challenges, BST International GmbH's headquarters in Bielefeld will be extended by the addition of a large production hall. The number of staff employed at Bielefeld, currently numbering 165, will be clearly increased.
