Cutting Lines are used to cut textile or steel cord.
The task:
- To have a consistent finished web width, to avoid splice errors and to control and minimize cord width variations.
The solution:
- To measure the cord width at several positions in the machine and to center the material.
- Centering is realized with steel cord by guiding frames that also include a slitter. In textile cord lines, for example, by guiding out of the loop without interrupts.
Benefits:
- Perfect quality control during full production, feedback over the complete machine to have a self adjusting machine and guiding out of the loop without interrupts.
