Two Camera System

Two Camera System: Front-and-back side display and Front-to-back register display

With an optional dual camera or a back strobe the PROScan 3000 becomes a veryeffective tool for inspecting front, back and front-to-back print in a variety of ways. The system can be used to view the currently active camera or images of camera #1 and camera #2, side-by-side in a Split Screen display or in an adjustable Picture In Picture mode. Front-to-Back Register (FTBR) is accomplished by a unique combination of front side camera and back side strobe, to yield remarkably clear and useful images of both sides of the web, even on heavy paper substrates.

View Modes

Dual Camera PROScan 3000 systems offer two modes for viewing images of the two cameras at the same time.

In Side-by-Side view mode the monitor can be divided into two parts of variable size to see both images side-by-side for color and print quality comparison.

Picture In Picture mode allows the image of one camera to appear in an adjustable window anywhere on the screen while the image of the other camera fills the remaining screen area. This mode is ideal to for example simultaneously display the register mark of the back side camera while the front side camera scans the entire repeat.

Strobes

Backstrobe

Backstrobe

A backstrobe assembly is used to visually check the front-to-back print register (FTBR) of translucent substrates by illuminating the web from the opposite side. Mounted opposite to the camera unit the image on the monitor will show the front side printing with the backside printing shining through.

Strobe options for UV, Coatings or Lacquers

Various applications require special image illumination. The PROScan 3000 system offers the possibility to install different strobe options such as UV strobes (for viewing of UV fluorescent additives) or reflective strobes to view lacquer or coatings.

Remote Operator Control Panel (ROCP) / Second monitor

ROCP

ROCP

Many presses require operators be at multiple locations throughout the day. Make your PROScan 3000 (and your operator) more productive by adding a Remote Operator Control Panel to your system. The ROCP allows convinient systemoperation from a second inspection area.

Second monitor

In order to monitor the print quality from other locations press side a second monitor can be added to the system.
