Electric-motor-driven actuators
Electric-motor-driven actuators are used where very quick reaction to changes in the web position are required.
The actuator can be connected both directly to the commander or via a module (for high actuating forces). The ready-to-fit design means that assembly is quick and cost-efficient, in particular where retrofitting to existing equipment. Where there is little space for fitting we offer actuators with a space-saving design.
Properties of the BST electric-motor-driven actuators:
- Wear-resistant DC motors for low and medium-range actuating forces
- AC motors for high actuating forces (connection via a power module)
- Ball screw spindle drives with a minimum of axial play and high durability
- Designed for curved and linear correcting movements
- Various combinations of actuation paths, force and speed are possible
- Available with and without position feedback (precise register of the current position of the actuator)
- Maintenance-free
