Hydraulic actuators
Hydraulic actuators are suitable for medium to high actuating forces due to their sturdy de-
sign. They can also be used in hazardous areas. They are most commonly used for the move-
ment of heavy masses, for ex-
ample for the direct control of unwinding and rewinding units in reel slitters and laminating systems.
Hydraulic actuators consist of a supply unit and a hydraulic cylinder.
Properties of BST hydraulic actuators:
